Asado & Pork Sausage Stew

“Asado” – usually consists of beef, pork, chicken, chorizo and sausage; all of which are cooked using an open fire or a grill. Check out this MOUTH-WATERING recipe from @elclub_delasado:


  • 500g Beef Short Rib
  • 500g Pork Sausage of choice
  • ½ a glass of White wine
  • 1 x Onion
  • 500g Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 x large Potato
  • 1 tin of Tomato Puree/Juice
  • 1 cup of Peas
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Seasoning: Salt, pepper, oregano & nutmeg

COBB Tip: Serve with your starch of choice



  1. Light the COBB with a CobbleStone . When the CobbleStone is grey, preheat the Frying Dish and Dome Lid for 10 minutes.
  2. Add oil to Frying Dish
  3. Brown the sausage and beef one at a time and set aside.
  4. Sauté the onion until translucent before adding the wine.
  5. Return the meat, add seasoning, tomatoes and tomato juice and cook for one hour and 15 minutes.
  6. Add the potatoes and cook for 30 minutes.
  7. Add the peas 15 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve with your choice of starch.
