Directions:

  1. Light your COBB with ½ a CobbleStone, place your Griddle+ and Dome Lid.
  2. Prawn Preparation: Begin by thoroughly cleaning the prawns. Grill them until they achieve a light brown colour, with the shells turning a bright orange. While grilling, season the flesh side with 1 tsp of aromat, 1 tsp of pepper and a sprinkle of fish spice for an extra kick.
  3. De-shell the Prawns: After grilling, carefully remove the shells from the prawns. Set them aside.
  4. Sauce Time: Place the Frying Dish onto your COBB. Melt the butter, then add the garlic and the remaining spices. Sauté until the garlic is golden.
  5. Creamy Mixture: In a bowl, combine cold milk and flour, whisking until smooth and lump-free. Pour this mixture into the Frying Dish, stirring continuously until it thickens into a creamy sauce.
  6. Cheese Addition: Remove the Dish from the heat and stir in the cheese. This ensures the cheese melts perfectly without losing its texture.
  7. Pao Prep: Lightly butter the Pao and toast it on the Griddle+ until it’s nicely browned.
  8. Assemble Your Delight: Place the grilled prawns on the toasted Pao and generously ladle the cheese sauce over them.
  9. Relish in your deliciously crafted Prawn & Cheese Pao.

Tip: Feel free to experiment with different spices and herbs to tailor the dish to your taste buds. The joy of cooking is in making it your own!
